Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon given an additional period of ageing in a second, custom-made barrel. It starts from Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon, in the 2021 release.
The second barrel is assembled from wood that was air-dried for 18 months, then toasted but not charred. Placing the bourbon in this barrel is the only step added: nothing else is added to it or done to it.
