Hooten Young Zinfandel Cask Finish is a six-year-old American whiskey, finished in Zinfandel casks that bring the influence of California wine barrels. It is bottled at 46% vol in a 75cl bottle.
The nose offers ripe berries, toasted oak, vanilla and warm baking spice. The palate is smooth yet full, with blackberry, dark cherry, gentle pepper and soft oak over a base made from traditional American grains. The finish carries red fruit and subtle spice.
