Hooten Young Petite Sirah Cask Finish is a limited-edition American whiskey, aged for 6 years and bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is part of the brand's Wine Barrel Whiskey Collection. The whiskey is sourced from MGP in Indiana and made from a mashbill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley. Master Sommelier George Miliotes finishes it for several months in Suisun Valley Petite Sirah barrels, which bring blueberry and vanilla to a maple-and-cream base. The nose is maple, cream and dark berry. The palate offers blueberry, vanilla and soft oak, and the finish is lush, velvety and gently sweet.
