Hooten Young Zinfandel Cask Finish is a limited-edition American whiskey, aged for 6 years and bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It belongs to the brand's Wine Barrel Whiskey Collection. The whiskey is sourced from MGP in Indiana and made from a mashbill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley. Master Sommelier George Miliotes finishes it for several months in Mauritson Winery Rockpile Vineyard Zinfandel barrels, adding red fruit and warm spice to a maple-and-cream base. The nose is maple, cream and red fruit. The palate brings ripe berry, baking spice and soft oak, and the finish is smooth and lightly spiced.
