Hooten Young Jack Carr Warrior Proof 16 Year Old American Whiskey (75cl, 62.5%)

Warrior Proof is a 16 year old American whiskey from Hooten Young, made in collaboration with Jack Carr, the former Navy SEAL and author. It was distilled at MGP in Indiana from a mash bill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley, with the barrels selected by the Hooten Young team. It is a limited edition, bottled at 62.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The brand suggests drinking it neat or with a few drops of distilled water. Tasting notes describe clove and baked apple at the core, with nougat, brown sugar, vanilla and light oak, and a long, warming, peppery finish over sweet corn.
