Horse Soldier Commander's Select VII 10 Year Old Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 60%)

Commander's Select VII is a ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at barrel strength, 60% ABV, without chill-filtration. It is the seventh annual limited release from Horse Soldier, a brand founded in 2015 by retired U.S. Army Green Berets of the 5th Special Forces Group. The mash bill is 70% corn, 25% wheat and 5% barley, pot-still distilled by Middle West Spirits in Columbus, Ohio, and matured in new #4 char American oak in a single Bardstown rickhouse. Each bottle is pressed in a mould forged from World Trade Center steel. The wheated bourbon opens with sarsaparilla, vanilla and birch, and finishes smooth with cacao and a touch of honey.
