This is Horse Soldier Small Batch Bourbon in a custom bottle made to mark America's 250th anniversary. The design is deep etched into the glass and then hand-painted. It is a custom project using Horse Soldier bourbon, not an official Horse Soldier anniversary release. The bourbon is bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof) in a 75cl bottle, and is described as smooth and full-bodied, with caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The nose offers vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, honey and baking spice. The palate is smooth, with caramel, sweet grain, vanilla, oak, cinnamon and light pepper. The finish is balanced and warming, with oak, spice and bourbon sweetness.
