Horse Soldier Small Batch Bourbon (47.5%)

Horse Soldier Small Batch is a bourbon bottled at 47.5% abv (95 proof). The mash bill is 70% corn, 20% wheat and 10% barley, made with water from limestone aquifers, and it contains no additives or artificial colour. The name 595 refers to the team number of the first Special Forces unit, the green berets who rode horses into Afghanistan. The colour is a warm golden caramel. The nose brings caramel, honey, butterscotch, cashew and spiced raisin with a hint of toffee, and a deeper inhale adds apples, citrus and leather.
