Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon (43.5%)

Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon is made from a mash bill of 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% barley, using water from limestone aquifers. It is bottled at 87 proof (43.5%) with no additives or artificial colouring, and has a copper colour. The nose brings caramel, toasted corn, oak, cinnamon and dark fruit. On the palate there are hints of oak, vanilla, nutmeg, mild black pepper and a little honey, with a medium body and a warm, spicy feel.
