A Trail of Smoke is a 42 year old Island blended malt from House of Hazelwood's Legacy Collection, limited to 385 bottles. It was matured in American white oak casks and bottled at its natural cask strength of 46.5% ABV, without chill filtration or added colour.
Each 70cl decanter is hand-labelled and individually numbered.
The nose is gently sweet, with dried herbs and fragrant woodsmoke. On the palate come tropical fruit and charred pineapple, with savoury peat in support.
