A 39 year old blended malt from House of Hazelwood, released as 'Sunshine on Speyside' in its Legacy Collection. It was distilled in the early 1980s and matured in first-fill and refill sherry casks. Only 398 bottles were filled, each decanter individually numbered and supplied in a presentation box.
It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 42.5%, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose brings fresh pineapple, mango and boiled sweets. The palate offers caramelised fruit, creamy sweetness and bright citrus, with a delicate thread of barbecue smoke.
