Howler Head is a Kentucky straight bourbon infused with natural banana flavour, bottled at 40%. The brand is owned and endorsed by UFC president Dana White.
The base is a straight bourbon made from a corn-based mash bill and aged in charred American oak barrels. Banana flavouring is added after maturation.
The nose has ripe banana, caramel and vanilla custard, with light oak and toasted sugar. The palate is sweet and creamy, with banana bread, brown sugar and a little spice from the bourbon. The finish is smooth and mellow, with banana toffee and gentle oak sweetness.
