This is a 16-year-old single malt from Glenrothes in Speyside, bottled by Hunter Laing in its Old Malt Cask range. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The spirit was distilled in October 2006 and matured in a single refill sherry butt, then bottled in May 2023. The cask gave 750 bottles.
The nose is coffee, chocolate and raisins. The palate brings apples, sultanas and spices, and the finish is long, with lingering dark fruits.
