HYDE No.6 President's Reserve 1938 is an Irish whiskey blended from an 18 year old single malt and an 8 year old single grain. Both were first aged in flame-charred American bourbon barrels.
The two whiskeys were then married and given a further nine months of finishing in toasted Spanish Oloroso sherry butts. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The finish in sherry wood gives a full-bodied whiskey with a pleasantly spicy flavour.
