Hyde No.8 Heritage Cask 1640 is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled three times and finished in stout beer barrels.
The name looks back to 1640, when two brothers opened the Tinker Cross pub in West Cork, where Irish whiskey and stout were served straight from oak barrels. The Hyde family has run it for ten generations, and Alan and Conor are the first to run the business without the family pub.
