Hyde No.9 Iberian Cask is an Irish single malt, triple distilled in a copper pot still from 100% malted Irish barley. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky first matured for at least eight years in 200-litre, flame-charred ex-Bourbon oak casks from Kentucky. It then spent a further nine months in 200-litre, first-fill, vintage Tawny Port oak casks from the village of Pinhão in Portugal's Douro Valley.
