I.W. Harper 15 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled and bottled in Louisville and aged for 15 years in oak. It comes in a 750ml decanter-style bottle at 43% ABV. The mash bill is 86% corn, 6% rye and 8% malted barley.
The I.W. Harper name was founded by Isaac Wolfe Bernheim and was revived by Diageo in 2015. This is the oldest bottling in the range.
In the glass it starts sweet, with grain and corn, then moves to oak, raisin, caramel, spice and vanilla. The finish is long and lasting.
