This is a 20 year old cask strength malt from Ichiro Akuto's Ichiro's Malt range. The whisky comes from the Hanyu distillery, which is now silent, and so reflects an important part of Japanese whisky history. It has a reddish-brown colour and a rich, sweet top note. The aftertaste is said to last a good while.
