This is a single cask Chichibu from Ichiro's Malt, bottled for the spirits retailer ACORN. It matured for 7 years in a bourbon barrel and was bottled at 65% ABV. Only 183 bottles were filled.
The malt is heavily peated, which gives the whisky a smoky character. The bourbon barrel adds sweetness and vanilla notes alongside the smoke.
