Ichiro's Malt Chichibu On The Way 2019 is a Japanese whisky from the Chichibu distillery, in its 2019 edition.
The nose opens with honey and ripe apricot, juicy peach and a touch of pineapple, with stewed apple adding a comforting note. Cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper emerge as it opens up.
On the palate there are crisp apple, sweet pear and bright citrus, followed by vanilla and then pastry-like sweetness.
