This is a peated single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, released as the US Edition for 2020. Ichiro Akuto founded the distillery in 2004, and it has been operating since 2008.
The whisky matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon casks, ex-chibidaru and sherry butts and hogsheads. It was bottled at 111 proof (55.5%), and 2,109 bottles were produced.
