Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Peated The US Edition 2021 is a peated Japanese whisky from Chichibu Distillery, in a 750ml bottle. Ichiro Akuto built the distillery in 2007 in Saitama prefecture, about 79km northwest of Tokyo, and production began in February 2008. It works with a small mill, a mash tun, washbacks made of Japanese oak and two small copper pot stills made by Forsyths of Scotland. The distillery fills a mix of bourbon barrels, sherry butts and hogsheads.
