Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries is a blended malt that combines single malts from Hanyu and Chichibu. Ichiro Akuto, who founded Chichibu in 2007, drew on the distinct styles of both distilleries. Hanyu was founded in 1941 by his grandfather, Isouji Akuto.
It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. The texture is soft and round, with woody and spicy aromas running through it.
