Ichiro's Malt & Grain is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Japanese and international distilleries, put together by Chichibu Distillery. It combines unsmoked malt with sweet grain and is a bright gold in colour. The nose brings vanilla, baked apple and fine traces of pepper. The palate shows candied fruit, chocolate and a touch of nutmeg, with a slight astringency that cleans the mouth, and the finish is lingering and pleasantly spicy.
