Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky was created by Ichiro Akuto of Chichibu Distillery. It combines malt and grain whiskies from Japan, America, Canada and Scotland, matured in casks that previously held bourbon, and is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers tropical fruit, vanilla and a hint of honeyed cereals. The palate is balanced and smooth, with caramel, apple and a touch of spice, leading to a long finish of gentle sweetness and a little oak.
