Ichiro's Malt Uniting Nations 1st Release was created to mark 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Scotland. It is a blend of Japanese and Scottish malt whiskies, put together by Ichiro Akuto himself. Akuto owns Venture Whisky, the company behind Chichibu Distillery. Chichibu is a small but growing distillery, known for a fuller-bodied style than many of the more widely known Japanese whiskies. This limited edition was released in 1,000 bottles.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
