This is a 31 year old Imperial from Signatory Vintage, distilled on 5 December 1989 and bottled on 20 October 2021. It matured in a bourbon barrel and was bottled at 55.9% in a 70cl decanter, with 115 bottles in the release.
Imperial was a Speyside distillery at Carron in Moray, founded in 1897 by Thomas MacKenzie. Its buildings were demolished in 2013 to make room for the new Dalmunach distillery.
