This is a 35 year old Imperial single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2025 by Murray McDavid at 42.7% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Aficionado series and matured in a bourbon barrel. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers oily pineapple, ripe stone fruit and a note of salted butter. On the palate, creamy grain meets sweet honeyed peach, with a subtle touch of peat. The finish is creamy, with a hint of ginger and light smoke.
