This is a 23 year old Imperial, a Speyside single malt distilled in 1995 and matured in a single bourbon barrel. Morrison & MacKay bottled it in April 2019 for the Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask series.
The release is a single cask of 230 numbered bottles. Imperial Distillery closed in 1998 and was demolished in 2013. The whisky has a fruit-led style, with honeyed sweetness and oak.
