This is a 30 year old Imperial, a Speyside single malt distilled in 1990 at the Imperial Distillery, which has since closed and been demolished. It matured in a single bourbon barrel and was bottled in October 2020 by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.
It is a single cask release for the Celebration of the Cask series, with 135 bottles produced. The style is fruit-forward, with honey and oak alongside the fruit.
