This is a 33 year old Speyside single malt from Imperial, distilled in 1989 and matured in a single bourbon barrel. It was bottled by Limited Whisky at 51.3% ABV, and only 107 bottles were filled. The whisky is a burnished gold. The nose is full of apricots, raisins, almonds, vanilla, honey, lemon zest and a little ginger spice. On the palate come red grapes, plums and red apples, with warming ginger and cinnamon. The finish is long, sweet and spicy, with toffee, butterscotch, brown sugar and cinnamon.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
