This is a 14 year old Inchfad from Loch Lomond, released by North Star as cask series 016 at 49%.
It was distilled in April 2007 and bottled in July 2021 from a single oloroso barrique, giving 234 bottles.
The nose brings hot apple cider, smoky ginger green tea and marshmallows. On the palate there is allspice in black coffee and charred wood. The finish is long, with damp leaves, sweet ash smoke and burnt porridge.
