This is a 12 year old Inchgower single malt from Speyside, bottled by James Eadie for their Single Cask series. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022, after double maturation in a refill Oloroso sherry butt. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour. The sherry butt adds to a spirit that is malty and slightly salty. Dried fruits, chocolate and soft spice are the flavours described, with a subtly maritime character running alongside.
