This is a 20 year old Speyside single malt from Inchgower, distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2015 at 57.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single sherry butt and is part of the Raw Cask range from Blackadder.
Blackadder is a family owned independent bottler, established in 1995 by Robin Tucek.
The nose is fruity and spicy, with ripe apples, pears, dried fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with toffee, dark chocolate and roasted nuts under a pronounced oak spice. The finish is long, with fruit, spice, oak and caramel.
