This is a 12-year-old single malt from Inchmoan, made at the Loch Lomond Distillery and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines vanilla with tangy, sweet smoke, drying peat smoke, golden syrup and black pepper. The palate brings sweet medicinal notes and soft apple, rich spices and cloves, a touch of smoked meats, gooseberry, almond, smoked cheese and grapes. The finish is long and waxy, coating the mouth.
