Madeira wood finish
Inchmurrin is a single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, which runs 13 stills of four different types. This bottling, part of the Loch Lomond Island Collection, is bottled at 46%. The whisky matured in American casks and in ex-Madeira casks, and carries a Madeira wood finish. The nose opens with plenty of red fruit before moving towards vanilla, grain and wood. On the palate the fruit turns to spice and woody notes, and the finish brings fruit and spice together once more.
