Indri DRU is a cask strength single malt whisky from India, in a 75cl bottle.
It was matured in bourbon barrels in a climate that leads to significant evaporation. It takes water well, revealing more layers as it opens up.
The nose offers deep vanilla, dark chocolate, orange zest, toasted oak, roasted hazelnut, heather honey and a little nutmeg. Neat, the palate is dominated by dark chocolate, with orange, vanilla pod, praline, clove, warm honey and Brazil nut alongside.
