Inverdarach 'Door to Hell' is a 14 year old single cask Speyside single malt, distilled in October 2011 and bottled in March 2026 at a cask strength of 54.3% vol. It is Potstill Edition No. 10, put together by the Vienna specialist Potstill with Ardgowan Distillery. The whisky matured in an ex-sherry butt and yielded 255 bottles. The name refers to the burning gas crater at Derweze. The notes describe dense sherry sweetness with dark raisins, dates, pickled plums and black cherries, with dark chocolate and spice behind. The palate is full and oily, and the finish is long and warming.
