Macallan – The Harmony Collection 6 Fresh Coconut (70cl, 46.3%)

The Harmony Collection 6 Fresh Coconut is a Macallan single malt, the sixth and final release in the Harmony Collection, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The coconut character comes through cask selection. The whisky is drawn predominantly from sherry-seasoned American oak casks, together with American oak that previously held bourbon. The high lactone levels in American oak add sweet, creamy elements, and the presentation box is made from paper produced from discarded coconut fibres. The nose offers fresh coconut, citrus, tropical fruits, vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice. On the palate come coconut milk, zesty lime and soft sweetness, leading to a bright, floral finish.
