Invergordon 1965/2021 is a 55-year-old single grain Scotch whisky from the Highland distillery of Invergordon, bottled by Wu Dram Clan as part of its Lighthouse Series. It was distilled in December 1965 and bottled in June 2021 at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a bourbon barrel, and 228 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered with natural colour. Invergordon was founded in 1960 and is the largest grain distillery in Scotland.
The aroma is described as old-school with a surprising freshness. Soft, round grain and oak notes are joined by mint, coconut, banana and pineapple.
