This is a 33-year-old single grain whisky from Invergordon in the Highlands, bottled by Meadowside Blending as The Grainman. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2024 at a cask strength of 45.1%, after maturing in a refill sherry butt. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour, and 543 bottles were filled.
The nose is candyfloss, fresh-cut apple and toasted cereals. On the palate, caramel sweets meet Belgian waffles, vanilla custard and sugared almonds. The finish is soft and creamy, with plenty of vanilla and a hint of café latte.
