Islay Mist – Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Islay Mist is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Lord Margadale created the brand in 1922 to celebrate his 21st birthday. He thought the local single malt, then called Laphroaig, might be too forceful for his guests. The result was a blend of Laphroaig with Highland malts, among them Glenlivet, together with Lowland and grain whiskies. It is described as balanced and aromatic, with peat, smoke and sea air.
