A 17-year-old Islay single malt from the independent bottler Duncan Taylor, bottled at 53.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2007 and forms part of the Octave series.
The final few months of its maturation were spent in a small ex-Amontillado sherry cask. The smaller cask means more flavour is drawn from the wood, so the whisky is expected to be bold and rich, with juicy fruit to the fore.
The release is 89 bottles.
