Isle of Jura 10 Year Old is a single malt from the island distillery of Jura, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in Oloroso sherry butts.
The nose combines peaches, apples and dried raisins with vanilla, light cardamom spice and fragrant wood smoke. The palate has chocolate-covered raisins, vanilla pod, toffee and gentle spice, with an oily texture. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and subtle oak.
