Isle of Jura 18 Year Old is a whisky distilled on the island of Jura in Scotland, bottled at 42% ABV. It spent eighteen years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in European red wine casks.
The nose brings ripe fruit, sweet spice, chocolate and a touch of peat smoke. The palate is soft, with cherries and nuts and a slight herbal edge towards the finish.
