Na Sia 7 Years Evolved is a peated single malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, matured for seven years in a single ex-American rye whiskey cask. It is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The cask brings rye spice to the peat smoke of the Hebrides.
The nose offers green apple, vanilla, toasted cereal, rye spice, sea salt and soft peat smoke. On the palate there is honeyed malt, black pepper, clove, toasted rye bread, oak spice and island peat. The finish is long, warming and smoky, with salted caramel, oak spice and a coastal character.
