This is an annual special release from the Raasay distillery, bottled at 52%. It is the distillery's first whisky matured in sherry casks.
The whisky first matured in ex-rye whiskey casks, then was finished in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks.
It is described as peppery and spicy, with almonds, nuts and sweet fruits, along with floral notes, nutmeg and clove.
