The Draam is a lightly peated single malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled at 46.4% in a 70cl bottle. This is Batch 2, distilled between 22 November 2017 and 27 February 2018 and bottled on 17 August 2021.
The malt is made from Scottish barley dried over Highland peat. It was matured in first fill rye whiskey casks, virgin Chinkapin oak casks and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks, a combination not previously used for Scotch whisky. It is not coloured or chill-filtered.
Cherry is described alongside apricot, and wood smoke alongside salted caramel, with sweet blackberry fruit running through it.
