The Draam is a limited edition from Raasay, a blend of peated and unpeated whiskies distilled on the Isle of Raasay. The phenol level is 6 PPM, which lets the peat show quietly in the background.
The whisky matured in three kinds of cask. Ex-American rye whiskey casks add spicy, woody notes, Chinkapin casks bring dried fruit and vanilla, and ex-Bordeaux red wine casks contribute fruity, velvety character.
