Isle of Skye 12 Year Old is a Scotch whisky matured for twelve years, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has a golden amber colour.
The whisky sets smoky notes against a subtle sweetness. The nose offers toasted malt, honey and light peat, with apple and pear. On the palate the malt meets caramel, chocolate and a light ginger spiciness. The finish is long, with peat and wood still present.
